Summer in the city.

17 Jul

The #1 summer excursion to do when living in the city is go away on vacation or to the cottage. However my friends let me tell you, there is no need to leave the city, there are plenty of things to do to enjoy your summer IN the city.

Not only is Toronto known for their great patios in Yorkville, Queen st W, College st, etc. We’ve got great restaurants at the Shop at Don Mills, specifically Glow where I spent my birthday last year! Trattoria Nervosa where you can indulge on some Italian cuisine, or even New Generation for some sushi!

Not into just chitchatting with friends over drinks? More into getting some colour in the sun? Well then Sugar beach by lakeshore and the Toronto Islands are where you want to get some nice tanning sessions! Sugar beach has been my go to place when I’m able to get some time off from work.

What about some sports? You can’t forget to show some love and support to our Toronto sportsmen at the ACC for the Toronto Raptors or at the Rogers Centre for the Blue Jays! And if you’re not that into baseball, not to worry cause you can set your eyes on Brett Laurie who is gorgeous and the Blue Jays star player, if you ask me, plus he’s only 21 years old so ladies we all have a chance right?

How about the nightlife in Toronto? Well all I can say is KING STREET. This is where you’ll find the greatest clubs like Brassai, Century Room, Spiceroute, etc. They’ve got the best DJs and overall it’s so good to just clear your mind and dance the night away!

Here is a list of my go to places where your destined to have a fabulous time! 🙂

Hemingways: 142 Cumberland Street
La Societe: 131 Bloor Street West
Oasis (rooftop patio): 99 Blue Jays Way
Joey’s restaurant: O’Neill Road, Don Mills

Thompson Hotel (rooftop pool): 550 Wellington Street West
